Eat the Fortune in the Fortune Cookie

Ok, not going to lie, making tuile can be tricky, but this recipe is super simple! Write a sweet note, someone's name, use your imagination and go wild! For the tuile that breaks {let's get real, some will} top ice cream and have an extra dessert!

3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 egg whites
1 stick butter, melted and cooled
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions: Whisk together the sugar and egg whites until well combined. Add the melted butter and whisk until combined. Add the flour and vanilla and whisk to combine. Refrigerate the batter for 4 hours. Line sheet tray with silpat or parchment. Spoon a small amount of batter on the sheet and spread as thinly as possible. Bake at 350 degrees for a few minutes. Bake 9 minutes. I wrote on the tuile with chocolate frosting out of a can - place it in a piping bag and it works very well.
