Panko Fried Shrimp

We just got a deep fryer and are having way too much fun making a bit of a greasy mess in the garage. Delicious and easy (no deep fryer needed - just heat oil in large pot on your stove) eat these shrimp for your meal or enjoy as an appetizer.

1 pound of raw shrimp, peeled, with tails on
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp cajun seasoning
1 cup flour
1 tsp paprika
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup panko
canola oil

Directions: Toss shrimp in salt, pepper, garlic salt and cajun seasoning. In one bowl stir together the flour and paprika. In second bowl whisk eggs and in third bowl place panko.

Heat the oil to 375 degrees. Dip each shrimp in the flour, then egg, then panko and set on sheet tray. Fry for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Serve with tarter sauce.
